Whales in Guadeloupe: The archipelago is a privileged area for cetacean observation. While the humpback whale, present from December to May, and the sperm whale, seen year-round, are among the most common encounters, some species remain exceptionally rare. Beaked whales, such as Cuvier’s beaked whale and Gervais’ beaked whale, remind us that seeing whales in Guadeloupe is above all an experience of patience, respect, and humility in the face of the ocean.
