When visiting Guadeloupe, travelers naturally look for authentic, powerful, and unforgettable experiences. Among everything the archipelago has to offer, here are two must-do excursions in Guadeloupe that truly stand out for their beauty, emotional intensity, and unique character:

  • Whale watching in Guadeloupe

  • The excursion to the Saintes archipelago

At Soleil Excursions, we are proud to offer these two adventures from the Côte Sous-le-Vent, departing from the port of Baillargent in Pointe-Noire. Each experience takes you into the heart of a wild, preserved, and vibrant Guadeloupe, the one we love to share.

Must-Do Excursions in Guadeloupe: 1 - Whale and Dolphin Watching in Guadeloupe , an unforgettable, moving encounter

Along the Côte Sous-le-Vent, Guadeloupe reveals a true sanctuary for marine mammals. The conditions here are ideal for an authentic whale- and dolphin-watching experience. All year long, our sea excursions allow you to observe several species: dolphins, sperm whales, and during the season, the impressive humpback whales migrating along our coastline.

On board, our captain Naël uses his sharp eye and his many years of experience to make each encounter unforgettable. Thanks to the hydrophone, you can listen to the sounds produced by the cetaceans, clicks, songs, and communication calls… an absolutely mesmerizing moment.

This excursion is designed as a true journey :

✔️ Full respect for the animals (AGOA Charter)

✔️ Educational explanations

✔️ 100% natural wildlife observations

✔️ Guaranteed unforgettable moments

Each excursion is unique, unpredictable, and full of life, that’s the true charm of the wild.

Must-Do Excursions in Guadeloupe: 2. Head to Les Saintes – A Full Day Discovering the Archipelago

The second flagship excursion offered by Soleil Excursions is the discovery of the Les Saintes archipelago, one of Guadeloupe’s most beautiful gems.

We are currently the only company offering this trip from Baillargent in Pointe-Noire, making it a rare and exclusive experience.

Program :

  • 1h30 of navigation along the Côte Sous-le-Vent

  • Arrival at Terre-de-Haut: stroll through the streets, shops, viewpoints, guided minibus tour, and visit to Fort Napoléon

  • Crossing to Terre-de-Bas: minibus tour and exceptional panoramas

  • Traditional lunch at a charming local restaurant (planter’s punch, hearty meal, fish, chicken, octopus, dessert, coffee)

  • Snorkeling at two exceptional spots:

    • Turtle Bay at Terre-de-Bas

    • Pain de Sucre Bay

  • Return around 5 p.m., with smiles all around, complemented by our famous “planter of friendship” on board!

A full, rich, and varied excursion, brimming with conviviality – one of the most beautiful trips to experience in Guadeloupe.

Why these two Guadeloupe excursions are unmissable?

They offer two entirely different sides of Guadeloupe:

  • Wild Guadeloupe: the open sea, cetaceans, and unpredictable encounters.

  • Postcard Guadeloupe: Les Saintes, its colorful villages, stunning viewpoints, and unique atmosphere.

These two excursions perfectly complement a stay in Guadeloupe, leaving lasting memories.
